2025年3月30日，中国商飞公司向老挝航空公司交付首架C909飞机，这是中国的喷气式客机首次进入老挝市场。
这架编号为RDPL-34229的C909飞机采用90座全经济舱布局，内外部标识标牌为老挝语，外部涂装为定制化设计，机尾印有老挝国花占芭花。该机以租赁的形式交付老挝航空公司，将在老挝完成一系列准备工作后投入航线运营。（央视新闻）
